[Netflix] How to Clear Data and Cache of Netflix

For Smartphones and Tablets (Android Devices):



If you are using the Netflix app:



Open the device's "Settings" app.
Scroll to and tap "Apps" or "Application Manager".
Select the installed Netflix.
Tap "Storage", then you will see "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data" options.
Tap "Clear Cache" to delete cache data. If you need to reset the app to its initial state, tap "Clear Data," but this will delete all app data, including settings and account information.

If you are watching through a browser:



Open your browser app.
Go to the settings menu, find "Privacy" or "Storage" options.
Find and select "Clear browsing data" or "Clear cache" options.
Choose to clear cache and cookies data.


For Smartphones and Tablets (iOS Devices):



If you are using the Netflix app:



iOS devices do not allow direct clearing of cache for individual apps. If the app runs slowly or has issues, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
Go to "Settings" > "General" > "iPhone Storage" (or "iPad Storage"), find and select the problem app, tap "Delete App". Then re-download and install it from the App Store.


If you are watching through Safari:



Open the "Settings" app.
Scroll down and tap "Safari".
Scroll down and select "Clear History and Website Data".


For Laptops (Windows Systems):



Clearing Browser Cache (example with Google Chrome):



Open the Chrome browser.
Click the three dots button in the top right corner, select "More tools" > "Clear browsing data".
In the popup window, select "Cached images and files," then click "Clear data".


For Laptops (MacOS Systems):



Clearing Browser Cache (example with Safari):



Open Safari.
From the menu bar, select "Safari," then "Clear History".
You can choose to clear all history or select a specific time range of history and cache data.
